This morning we left Volunteer House at 08:00am to help the guys
from “Curry without Worry” in cleaning up the Monkey Temple.

We arrived by taxi around 08:20am and were happy to see that the local Scouts were joining us as well!
We spent around two hours cleaning the area and the 365(!) stairs!
But the views – once you manage to climb all the way up to the top – is stunning!
You can see all over Kathmandu!

This temple is amazing, truly! It has been badly damaged by the quakes;
so just imagine it’s beauty before the partial destruction!

After the end of our morning-mission we shared delicious Nepalese tea
and the best Samosas we ever tasted with our co-workers
from “Curry without Worry”.

Then back to Volunteer House!

Around 12:30 we left to have lunch with all the kids at Papa’s House.

And we also took the bags containing all the donations we brought with us from Germany.
The kids just loved the stuffed toys. Plus the Tigerduck – and – Frog trousers turned out to be a huge success as well!

The boys changed into them at once and wore them during their games of Soccer.

Oh, and not to Forget: RALPH is finally home as well; he was originally given to me
as a “Secret Santa” gift by my colleagues.
But I had to promise to take him with us and leave him with the NOH kids in Nepal…
Mission Accomplished! He will travel from house to house and
I  am sure he will enjoy the many cuddles 🙂

The underwear, socks and all the other wonderful pieces of clothing
were taken inside the storage room and will be handed out once they are needed!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated from everyone at NOH, the kids,
Carmen and I!!!
